The tragic death of Heath Ledger (who plays the Joker) is bringing this film unexpected Oscar buzz, and is selling out opening night tickets a month in advance. The film in general is action packed, and more thrilling than its previous chapter, Batman Begins. Heath Ledgers performance is truly captivating.

Plot Summary: "The Dark Knight" reunites director Christopher Nolan with star Christian Bale, who returns to continue Batman's war on crime.
